31 August - 9 September
Royal Exchange Theatre
Comedian Daniel Kitson returns to the Royal Exchange for a 10-day residency.
Marooned in the middle of a circle of microphones, speakers, lights and people he will attempt to not simply, dismantle and rebuild his own ideas about compassion, isolation, solidarity and progress but in doing so momentarily alter the function of language and invent a new form of stand up comedy.
The immersive experience has been described by the Guardian newspaper as “tightly scripted, technically ambitious piece that blurs the line between stand-up and theatrical monologue.”
Those attending the show are set for another treat, with the Royal Exchange giving audiences a sneak peek of their new restaurant. Food and drink will be served all day, before and after the show, where you can relax with a pint in our indoor beer garden.
Show your ticket at the bar after the show and get a £1 off your pint.
