The Oast House to extend Spinningfields stay

One of the Manchester’s most popular al fresco drinking spots has been given a new lease of life.

The New World Trading Company has announced that a long-term lease arrangement has been secured for The Oast House and its outdoor beer garden.

The Oast House originally opened its doors in 2011 as a pop-up venue before becoming a more permanent fixture in the city’s nightlife.

A number of changes to Crown Square – the area immediately outside the venue – are now set to take place following the new lease. These include: removal of the large white canopy in order to bathe customers in more sunlight; the creation of two new outdoor bars; new outdoor heaters and a raised fire pit for the winters months; and moving the live music stage to the opposite side of Crown Square.

The makeover is set to be complete by Spring 2018.
