30 August 2017 (6:30 PM)
Think artificial intelligence could be used to power social change? Or coding could help people out of poverty? The Tech for Good movement aims to pioneer new ways to bring people together, donate and solve some of the UK’s biggest social issues.
The Manchester chapter of Tech for Good is incredibly active hosting monthly themed events, with an inspiring line-up of speakers. The next one will take place at OGS Works in the Old Granada Studios building on 30 August.
This month’s theme is ‘International Development’ and confirmed speakers from Cooperatives UK, digital education organisation Jisc and the eTekkatho project, which is building digital libraries at universities in Myanmar/Burma.
Tickets are free with tasty food and drink provided.
