BBC looks for diners for new restaurant show

Million Pound Menu, a brand new BBC TWO restaurant series hosted by First Dates’ Fred Sirieix, will shortly begin filming in Spinningfields and it’s looking for diners.

From 7-25 November, 12 of the UK’s most exciting new food concepts will attempt to wow a panel of top food and beverage investors and secure a life changing business investment. In return for your feedback, producers are offering to pay for up to 50% of your total bill.

Beastro and The Kitchens on Leftbank will be handed over to twelve budding restaurateurs as they bring their inventive new dining concepts to life.

The project builds on Spinningfields’ Kitchens project aired in 2015, which saw local street food businesses compete for a permanent restaurant space. Bangers and Bacon were crowned the winners and went on to open Beastro earlier this year.

The Spinningfields estate has been a popular base for television productions, with the BBC following the launch of Manchester House in 2014 and its quest to be awarded a Michelin star.
