Foodie heaven could be built under Mancunian Way

Plans have been put forward to transform a derelict space nearby into a mouth-watering collection of pop-up eateries, coffee shops and a nano-brewery.

Manchester-based property developers Bruntwood are behind the vision for the vacant area of Oxford Road.

Falling under the wider Circle Square scheme, the area is quickly getting a reputation for sparking innovation across all sectors. An independent food and drink offer nearby is seen as the perfect place to fuel further ideas and collaborations.

If plans are approved, the 12 proposed units are set to launch in late September under the stewardship of the management team behind ‘Afflecks’, the Northern Quarter shopping emporium of eclecticism.
