The 2017 British Street Food Awards - the toughest street food competition in the world - is coming to Manchester. And GRUB, the city’s innovative street food events company, are playing hosts. After five regional heats, the 17 best traders in the UK will fight it out to be crowned champion – and win the right to represent the Britain in the augural European Street Food Awards in Berlin.
The free tasters — introduced as part of the BSFA’s new ‘mad minute’ — will mean the people of Manchester get to try everything before voting for the People’s Choice.
The food line-up includes: Mr D’s Magnificent Pie Machine, Tikk’s Thai Kitchen, Dim Sum Su, Brother Thai, Truly Crumptious, Baked in Brick, Low ‘N’ Slow, Homeboys, The Bourneville Waffle Company, The English Indian, The Buffalo Truck, ShrimpWreck, Stickybundits, Wingmans, JAH JYOT Punjabi Street Food, The Flying Cows, and Chaat Cart.
