22-23 September 2017
Foundation Coffee House
One of the world’s longest running creative and lifestyle brands, Reeves, is heading to Manchester to encourage more people to get creative.
Reeves, who have been producing artists materials for 250 years, is landing in the Northern Quarter’s popular and buzzing café, Foundation Coffee House, bringing a creative hub to the venue to demonstrate how everyone can be inspired, with simple, everyday tasks. Acclaimed illustrator and printmaker, Elliot Kruszynski, will be on hand at Foundation Coffee House, sharing his tips and advice with attendees.
The one off pop-up event, taking place over two days on Sept 22 and 23, is part of the brand’s quest to make creativity accessible to all and help us all find time in our day to ‘switch off’ in meaningful ways.
Daniel Mark Carr, Senior Global Brand Manager at Reeves, said: “There’s a creative side in all of us and studies have shown that ‘switching off’ and using this time meaningfully can have a beneficial effect. We are so excited about coming to such a vibrant and creative area of Manchester. We keen to share with everyone just how rewarding and enjoyable just a few minutes of creativity can be.”
A recent study found 45 minutes of creative activity significantly lessens stress in the body, regardless of artistic experience or talent.
Dom Beardwell, director of Foundation Coffee House, said: “Manchester’s Northern Quarter is a hive of creatives. We’re really excited to be working with Reeves to demonstrate how creativity can be expressed in different ways. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Foundation and providing them with delicious coffee to jump-start their imagination.”
Show Your Colours is a drop in event where everyone is welcome and no registration is needed.
