The Manchester premiere of renowned musical Pippin is coming to Hope Mill Theatre this month.
With a score by Stephen Schwartz (composer of globally renowned musical Wicked) and the return of director Jonathan O’Boyle of Hope Mill’s critically acclaimed Hair, Pippin is set repeat its Broadway success in Manchester.
The award-winning musical tells the story of a young prince on his search for meaning and significance. To prove his loyalty to his distracted father, King Charles, Pippin goes to war. But when the Leading Player convinces the prince to fight tyranny, Pippin kills Charles and takes over the throne.
The Broadway hit includes songs such as ‘Corner of the Sky’ and ‘Magic To Do’.
