Manchester Jazz Festival starts this weekend

Manchester Jazz Festival returns this weekend for two weeks - 28th July to 6th August. With 100 gigs and 100 hours of music, this year’s Manchester Jazz Festival celebrates 100 years of the first jazz recording.

Over half of the events take place in the festival hub at Albert Square where you can step into the magical 1920s Salon Perdu Spiegeltent and experience the luxurious surrounds of a cabaret club.

You can also experience immersive works, intimate performances, exclusive commissions and light projections with live DJs at venues including Central Library, Band on the Wall, HOME, St Ann’s Church and The Midland.
