A food, drink and dancing extravaganza is coming to the Mayfield Depot on Friday 29th September, to celebrate the joint 20th birthday of Manchester Food & Drink Festival and the Corn Exchange’s Tampopo. An evening of stunning street food, cracking cocktails and a host of Manchester icons taking to the stage.
Drawing inspiration from South-East Asian Full Moon Parties, the evening will commence with a cocktail bucket reception, served alongside canapes of Tampopo classic starters including Chicken Satay, Gyoza, Spring Rolls and Rendang Roti Bites. Mains include Thai Curry Noodles, Beef Rendang and Singaporean Cury, plus a dessert of delicious, flaky Roti pancakes, drizzled with condensed milk.
The entertainment will kick off with a performance by Happy Monday’s Rowetta and culminate with DJ sets from Hacienda’s Graeme Park and musician, DJ and radio presenter, Clint Boon. Taking place in the extraordinary Mayfield Depot, MFDF provides a one-off chance to eat, drink and dance in this historic venue.
The party will be in aid of the Tim Bacon Foundation, with £5 from each ticket price donated to the foundation and lots of fundraising on the night too.
Standard tickets are priced at £30 each.
