The nearby NOMA development has created a fund to support grassroots community organisations working with young people aged between 11 and 25 years old.
Awards of up to £1,000 are available to new ideas and initiatives only.
Applicants must be small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like.
NOMA is creating a neighbourhood of new homes, offices, hotels, retail and leisure space in Manchester’s city centre. The 20 acre neighbourhood is being developed near the Co-operative headquarters and Manchester Victoria station.
