Want to unleash your inner maker and have something to show for your efforts? Then come along to 'Cup-a-soup', the latest course at Plant NOMA, a new workshop space situated opposite The Pilcrow Pub.
At this workshop you will make your own autumnal crockery made up of a soup spoon, hearty bowl and serving platter; all fit for a warm feast on a dark cold evening. During this full day course, you will begin the day by designing your set and producing a coloured slip to later decorate your set with. You will then hand build the platter and spoon before taking up your place on the throwing wheel, learning the ancient process as you craft your fully functional vessels.
Finally, you will finish the set with slip decoration as you create a beautiful, dynamic set of very personal Autumn crockery.
Tickets cost £50 and include all materials and firing.
