30 August–7 September 2017
Europe’s top sports journalists have descended on Manchester for the return of The Football Writing Festival.
Back for its fourth year, the festival is a partnership between the National Football Museum, Waterstones and Hotel Football.
The line-up includes: OPTA revealing how stats have revolutionised how the game is analysed; an inquest into the scandals involving governing-body FIFA; a close look at football’s talent factory with Michael Calvin and his book No Hunger In Paradise; outspoken player Joey Barton; and the football issues of the day to be thoroughly dissected by The Blizzard LIVE show.
Tickets can still be bought for individual events for the remaining three days of the festival.
