Europe’s top sports journalists will descend on Manchester this month for the return of The Football Writing Festival.

Back for its fourth year, the festival is a partnership between the National Football Museum, Waterstones and Hotel Football.

The line-up includes: OPTA revealing how stats have revolutionised how the game is analysed; an inquest into the scandals involving governing-body FIFA; a close look at football’s talent factory with Michael Calvin and his book No Hunger In Paradise; outspoken player Joey Barton; and the football issues of the day to be thoroughly dissected by The Blizzard LIVE show.

Tickets can be bought for individual events or a Season Pass to all eight will cost you £45.
