México’s annual celebration for the dead has been given a new lease of life since it featured in the opening scene of Bond’s Spectre.
Manchester will soon be getting in on the act too, with MasterChef star and Wahaca founder Thomasina Miers announcing she is to host a Day of the Dead themed banquet.
It will take place in the abandoned Mayfield depot as part of the 20th Manchester Food and Drink Festival on 7 October.
The five-course feast will be accompanied by live performances, music and no doubt tequila.
Tickets are now on sale costing £55 plus booking fee.
