Free Yorkshire pudding wraps for emergency service workers

A new craze has hit the UK, turning the traditional Sunday roast into a burrito- style wrap made out of Yorkshire pudding. And now emergency service workers are all being offered one for free at Manchester’s Christmas markets.

The Porky Pig stall located outside the Corn Exchange has been a huge hit, attracting large queues of people wanting to try the innovative meal.

The ‘Christmas special’ wrap contains pulled pork, beef and chicken, stuffing, vegetables and gravy, all wrapped in a giant Yorkshire pudding.

In a message that has been shared over 200 times on Facebook, Porky Pig make the kind offer to emergency service workers.

Stall owner Eddie Osman will waive the usual £6.50 cost of the wrap for any on-duty emergency service workers until the Christmas Markets close in late December.
