Oktoberfest lands in Albert Square this week

18-22 October 2017

Beer lovers rejoice: Munich’s famous Oktoberfest is being recreated in Manchester.

From this coming Wednesday until Sunday, Albert Square will be transformed into a giant German bier hall with room for 2,000 people.

The drinks line-up includes a fine selection of limited-edition Bavarian tipples ready to be sunk to the authentic tunes of Oompah bands. Once you’ve built up an appetite you can head to one of the bratwurst or German Schnitzel stalls. Or if you’re in it for the long run, the VIP package costing £60 includes a sit-down meal of roasted duck with red cabbage and mashed potato and a digestive Underberg shot.

So put on your dirndl or lederhosen and get together with colleagues, clients and friends and enjoy the unique Oktoberfest atmosphere.
